Carolling in the Cave

On Friday, December, 16th, join us for a special evening of beautiful Christmas carols inside Moaning Cavern's main chamber, with its incredible, natural acoustics. Call 866-762-2837 to reserve your spot. See Santa rappel 165-feet to the bottom of the main chamber, where you can meet him and get your picture taken!

SEE SANTA RAPPEL! At the end of the musical portion of the concert, Santa will rappel a daring 165 feet down to the bottom of Moaning Cavern's massive main chamber to distribute gifts to our guests! Bring a can of food or other holiday themed non-perishable food item to donate to the Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency and receive $2 off your ticket price.

	PREPARATION Moaning Cavern is a natural, marble underground environment with a comfortable temperature of 61°F. To attend concert, dress in jeans, t-shirt or sweatshirt and tennis shoes. Bring a pillow to sit on (floor is cold and hard). Please bear in mind that, as a living cave, Moaning Cavern does drip water occasionally. We call these droplets "cave kisses." In wetter weather the water droplets increase, and you may choose to bring a lightweight waterproof jacket with a hood to keep you completely dry.
